Job description

Short Intro and About the Job

At Danone, we are manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Processing Associate to work in our Processing department for our Beverage Business based in Dallas, TX. 

This position is to ensure optimum quality products by mixing products to specifications, following formulas and procedures, to guarantee uniformity. Establish the required quantities and availability of materials needed to meet demands. Responsible for the normal operation of the blending equipment which includes monitoring of temperatures, levels of product, using CIP system for sanitation and informing management of any issues or problems. This position is responsible for replenishment of all Silk ingredients.

About You

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Communicate with Blender Batcher Operators of previous shifts, regarding current activities in progress before resuming the missing procedures.
  • Procures daily ingredient usage from warehouse at beginning of workday using standup forklift, at lease (1) one year of experience required.
  • Efficiently operates all mix room equipment as needed and monitor product levels (to avoid overflow) via computer
  • Continuous lifting of ingredients, (weighing up to 55lbs) for loading into blenders, or tanks.
  • Monitor product levels (to avoid overflow) via computer
  • Hand pump flavor liquids from 50 gallon drum to mix in batch tank.
  • Check blend for right solids on CEM machine to make sure the levels are accurate
  • Able so CIP/SIP processing equipment
  • HTST, UHT experience preferred
  • Conduct PH, Caustic and Acid tests for properly cleaning of tanks then document results
  • Maintain clean and safe working environment (scrub down pipes, breddo and the room)
  • CIP Reclaim tanks and wash outside of tank if needed
  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs or more repetitively during a 12 hour shift and must be able to drive a sit down forklift
