Berry Construction Company, a leading general contractor in the Southeast, is hiring a Document Controller to support our preconstruction team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and excels at managing complex documentation with precision.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage construction document control for multiple commercial projects
  • Serve as the main point of contact for bid document coordination with Owners, Architects, and Engineers
  • Review and organize bid documents for accuracy, completeness, and distribution
  • Maintain drawing logs and ensure all document versions are current and accessible
  • Prepare and distribute bid packages (digital and print)
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing AIA contract documents

What We’re Looking For
  • 2–5+ years of construction, architecture, or engineering experience
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management tools (Box, Dropbox, etc.)
