About the Opportunity - Assistant Controller**
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, contribute to process improvements, and help ensure accurate and timely financial management. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and experienced in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities - Assistant Controller
  • Assist in managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
  • Monitor compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Assist with audit preparation and coordinate requests from external auditors
  • Review general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff as needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency
Qualifications - Assistant Controller
