Are you looking for an entrepreneurial organization were you can make a significant impact? We are in search of a professional Customer Support Associate for our Baldwin Park, CA facility.
Do you possess a high-level of energy and the motivation to cause things to happen?
We are a medium-sized team in need of an experienced Customer Support Associate. We are financially stable, and a division of a large global manufacturer traded on the S&P 500.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary interface between assigned customers and internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Materials, Operations, Finance) to support customer needs and business
  • Purchase order review, order entry and maintenance, customer website maintenance and resolution of customer issues.
  • Maintain customer files for quotes, orders, contracts, and related documents.
  • Communicate regularly with Sales and Operations to ensure alignment with company goals and customer
  • Assist Sales team with lead qualification, quoting, and follow-up activities.
  • Identify and communicate upsell or cross-sell opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Prepare sales proposals and presentations as needed.
  • Provide support for Sales Representatives when needed.
  • Understand repair operations and associated workflow to facilitate smooth order processing.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by responsible lead, manager and/or business unit manager

Education:
  • High School diploma required
  • College coursework in a related discipline preferred

Experience:
We need your experience to include:
  • 3-5 years as a Customer Service Representative in fast-paced environment
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Prior sales experience is preferred

Qualifications:
You should also have:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to relate effectively to all levels of the organization.
  • Well-developed problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills; attention to detail and accuracy is imperative.
  • Comfortable with outbound communication, prospecting, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate in English with customers.
  • Flexible work hours; overtime may be required to meet business needs.
  • Prior experience in sales, sales support, or other customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Strong interest in sales and business development
