Weekend Customer Advocate

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is looking for a weekend Customer Advocate to work Fridays 1p.m.-5p.m., Saturday and Sundays 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The Customer Advocate is the friendly voice on the other end of the line helping answer all our online customersโ€™ questions, placing their orders, and fixing any problems. As their first point of contact, the Customer Advocate becomes the โ€œfaceโ€ of Jeniโ€™s to our customers. This particular Customer Advocate works weekends from home. The ideal candidate will be relentlessly upbeat, intelligent, and enjoy helping sweet grandmothers send ice cream to their grandkids, and helping sweet grandkids send ice cream to their grandmothers.

This position is remote, with occasional in-office visits so the candidate should be located in the Columbus, Ohio area.

This position is responsible for and great at:

  • Communicating with customers via phone calls, online chats, and emails in professional and helpful manner

  • Organizing and placing bulk orders for holiday gifts, and catering events

  • Righting wrongs and advocating for customers

  • Getting to know customers, many on a first-name basis, and providing them with world-class customer service that is on par with our ice creams

  • Written and verbal communication

The Customer Advocate will become an expert in all things Jeni's including:

  • Products

  • Flavor suggestions

  • Placing, altering, and tracking orders

  • Knowledge of marketing promotions

  • Wholesale and Scoop Shop on goings

  • Shipping policies

  • Allergen information
