Job description

Description:

Our Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the interface with our customers. The CSR attends phone calls, takes orders from our customers and processes these orders to production, making sure all details are captured and the culinary departments are completely aware of all details our customers want.

We work in a fast-paced environment that requires elevated levels of flexibility from the CSR. Early start hours may be required as well as late hours. Weekend availability is a must. This is not a nine to five job, and our management team is very eager and engaged to increase our market share. We’re a fast-growing company that needs highly motivated team players. The CSR is a hands-on character that manages day to day challenges and covers shifts as needed.

This position requires full ownership of the assigned areas. Flexibility is key in our industry, and you must be available for extra workload.


Qualifications:

· Proven working experience as a CSR

· Computer savvy, knowledge with QB is a plus

· Experience in providing customer service support

· Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques

· Proficiency in English, bilingual Spanish is a big plus

· Working knowledge of customer service software, databases, and tools

· Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications

· Strong client-facing and communication skills

· Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

· Customer service orientation

· Education in the hospitality related industry

Requirements:

Reports to: Customer Service Manager

Requirements as follows, but not limited to:

· Experience within the food service industry (fine dining, social events, food service management)

· Culinary / Food knowledge (culinary education is a big plus)

  • Excellent presentation and communication
  • Fluent English speaker, bilingual Spanish speaking is a big plus
  • Experience with phone etiquette
  • Valid driver license with driving experience is a prerequisite
  • 1-2 years of experience in high end customer service environment
  • Ability to read and interpret loading instructions, diagrams, and food menu specifications
  • Being well versed in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • Highly flexible and analytical, pro-active player
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate is a must (e.g. ServSafe)
  • Meticulous time manager with the ultimate attention to detail
