Job description

Park View, a Cassia community, is hiring a self-motivated, energeticย Culinary Assistantย to join our team in Buffalo, MN!ย This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.ย  No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success.ย 
This position is aย unique approach to help cover for employees on leave of absences, on scheduled vacations, or other open shifts. You will be working Day and Evening shifts at both our Assisted Living (Park Terrace) and Skilled Nursing Facility (Park View). They are connected to one another.
Position Type:ย Part-Time
Shifts Available (Including Every Other Weekend):
Evenings 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Wage Range: $17.45 to $20.75 / hour depending on experience
Location:ย 200 Park Ln, Buffalo, MN 55313

Culinary Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Rotate through stations: food prep, serving, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
  • Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
  • Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
  • Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
  • Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
Culinary Assistant Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant or healthcare experience preferred but not required!ย We will train!
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.ย 
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
