The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals according to standardized recipes and guest preferences. This role supports the overall kitchen operation, ensuring food is prepared safely, efficiently, and attractively. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, cook, and present food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, or room service, depending on shift and hotel needs.
     
  • Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
     
  • Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
     
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (grills, ovens, fryers, slicers, etc.).
     
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and tools.
     
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times.
     
  • Assist in prep work such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces.
