Job description

Job Summary

Our Site Contracts team is growing, and we are currently seeking office-based intern(s) to support our team within our Site Activation and Maintenance (SAM) Department. This group plays a key role in the study start-up/site activation process at Medpace by communicating with research sites (doctor's offices, universities, hospitals, etc.) to negotiate contracts and budgets before the site begins to screen patients to participate in a clinical trial. The Site Contracts Intern will provide support to the Contract Specialists and Managers as they negotiate Clinical Trial Agreements, manage contractual timelines, and identify contract related risks.  *This position is fully office-based in Cincinnati, OH

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to the contracts team
  • Quality control of documents
  • Prepare amendments to the Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA) and budgets
  • Maintain tracking of documents through Medpace's internal database (ClinTrak)
  • Support the signature process
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and pursuing JD or Bachelors degree in Legal Studies, Business, Communications, or Operations. 
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week in our Cincinnati, OH office. Full-time preferred
