Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Contracts Compliance Specialist to support the ongoing review and upkeep of our contract records, helping ensure that every active and historical agreement remains complete, compliant, and properly executed. A core part of this role is performing a systematic review of our SharePoint contracts repository to verify that fully executed (signed) versions are on file across all contract types, including awards, modifications, task orders, extensions, bridge contracts, NDAs, and teaming agreements, and to keep records well organized and current. Experienced in navigating FAR/DFARS requirements, interpreting contract flow-down clauses, and ensuring compliance through accurate reporting and effective contract administration. This is a flexible, part-time role well suited to an experienced contracts professional working independently on a defined schedule.

This is a remote, part-time position within the Contracts department, reporting to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and confirm the complete contract lifecycle for each agreement, included but not limited to:
    • Awards
    • Modifications (Mods)
    • Task Orders
    • Extensions
    • Bridge contracts
    • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
    • Teaming Agreements (TAs)
  • Review SharePoint contracts folders to confirm that a fully executed, signed version of each document is on file and correctly organized as needed.
  • Flag any documentation needing follow-up and coordinate with internal stakeholders, customers, partners, and subcontractors to obtain updated signatures or corrected versions as needed.
  • Continuing maintaining the SharePoint folder structure and file-naming conventions so records stay organized and easy to retrieve.
  • Continue tracking log/register summarizing each contract?s status and any follow-up actions.
  • Provide periodic status summaries with recommendations for keeping records complete and well organized.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive and proprietary information.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Government/Federal contract administration, contract compliance, or procurement
  • Associate?s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, Contract Management, or a related field; OR equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge of contract document types and lifecycle, including awards, modifications, task orders, extensions, bridges, NDAs, and teaming agreements.
  • Strong document management and auditing skills with exceptional attention to detail. Expertise across a full range of contract types: Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost-Plus (CPFF/CPIF), Time-and-Materials (T&M), and Labor-Hour. Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, flow-down clauses, and compliance reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently, manage a varied workload, and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Experience drafting, redlining, or interpreting contractual language.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
