What are part time contracts?

Part time contracts are employment agreements where an employee works fewer hours than a full-time schedule, typically less than 35-40 hours per week. These contracts offer flexibility but may not always include the same benefits as full-time positions, such as health insurance or paid leave. Part time contracts are commonly used in industries like retail, hospitality, and education, and can be either fixed-term or ongoing.
