Details:
Join Vanguard's Total Rewards team as a Compensation Analyst. In this role, you will support a wide array of compensation processes and projects. You will partner with our team of Compensation Consultants to evaluate roles, conduct compensation analyses, and provide guidance to business leaders. Your focus will include areas such as job evaluation, survey participation, compensation benchmarking, job change analyses, and year-end compensation. You will also help improve our compensation practices, guidelines, and procedures.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable analyzing large datasets to find key insights and trends. Familiarity with job evaluations, salary structures, and market benchmarking is preferred. Experience with Workday is a plus, as you will support various compensation processes within the platform. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work and customer service are important for success in this role.
Core Responsibilities
1. Conducts job family design, job evaluations, salary increase reviews and benchmark reviews to ensure crew pay is internally equitable and externally competitive.
2. Manages and contributes to a work stream for strategic initiatives that span across base pay, sales and incentives, executive compensation and Vanguard's overall compensation philosophy. Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies and procedures and recommends plan revisions to compete with market trends.
3. Conducts compensation benchmarking exercises and manages surveys to support competitive analysis of compensation programs. Performs trend analysis and industry best practices research to support enterprise decision making. Conducts and participates in compensation surveys.
4. Assists with compiling and preparing reports for the purpose of providing written support and conveying information to senior management.
5. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Three years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
