How You'll Contribute to Our Success

As our Compensation Analyst, you’ll drive the integrity and competitiveness of our compensation programs by analyzing job architecture, conducting market benchmarking, and ensuring pay equity—all while maintaining accurate HRIS data and compliance. Your sharp analytical skills and attention to detail will help identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and provide data-driven recommendations to support fair and transparent compensation decisions. A strong communicator, you’ll partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to explain complex structures, guide job evaluations, and align compensation strategies with our talent and business goals. By managing multiple priorities with precision and collaboration, you’ll play a key role in building a scalable, equitable compensation framework that attracts, retains, and motivates top talent.

What You’ll Do as a Compensation Analyst

  • Safety & Compliance
    • Uphold Lesaffre’s safety-first culture by following all safety protocols and participating in required programs
    • Partner with Legal and HR to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
  • Job Evaluation & Architecture
    • Support job evaluation (Mercer/custom methodology) to classify roles and align with career levels, position classes, and global standards
    • Assist in job leveling and classification to ensure consistency across functions and geographies
    • Partner with HRBPs, hiring managers, and leaders to evaluate roles and maintain accurate job descriptions
    • Update the job catalog (codes, titles, levels) in HRIS and conduct internal equity reviews
  • Salary Structure & Benchmarking
    • Assist in market benchmarking (Mercer) to maintain competitive salary tiers
    • Support annual salary reviews, including merit budgets, market adjustments, and progression guidelines
    • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, pay equity gaps, and market positioning
    • Provide data-driven recommendations for merit cycles, promotions, and off-cycle adjustments
  • Compensation Systems & Data Management
    • Maintain HRIS compensation modules (UKG, HRSoft, BetterComp) to ensure data accuracy
    • Generate compensation reports (salary utilization, compa-ratios, promotion metrics)
    • Support audits and compliance (FLSA, EEO) and resolve system issues with HRIS/IT
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement
    • Advise HRBPs and Talent Acquisition on job offers, promotions, and internal mobility
    • Assist in training HR and leaders on job evaluation, market tiers, and compensation policies
    • Contribute to process improvements in job evaluation, salary administration, and analytics
    • Stay updated on compensation trends, regulations, and best practices.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related fiel
  • 3–5 years of experience in compensation analysis, job evaluation, or total rewards
  • Proficiency in compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., Mercer, Hayes, Payscale, or similar)
  • Experience with HRIS/Compensation modules (e.g., UKG, Workday, HRSoft, BetterComp, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling) and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Compensation (e.g., CCP, GRP, or working toward certification)
  • Experience within a global or multi-national organization
