Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with venipuncture, Epic EMR, patient intake, vital signs, and assisting providers with clinical procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP Accredited Program

  • Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)

  • Minimum 1 Year of Medical Assistant Experience

  • Venipuncture Experience Required

  • Epic EMR Experience Required

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient intake and rooming procedures.

  • Obtain and document vital signs.

  • Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.

  • Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures.

  • Update and maintain patient records within Epic EMR.

  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies.

  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.

  • Provide patient education and follow-up instructions.

  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.
