About the Role:
Irie Ting Jamaican Grill LLC is looking for a passionate and experienced Jamaican Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen in Richmond, VA! This is your chance to bring authentic Jamaican flavors to life while running a tight, high-energy kitchen operation. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and execute authentic Jamaican dishes including jerk chicken, oxtail, curry goat, rice and peas, and other traditional menu items
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met
  • Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight
  • Monitor food inventory, place orders, and manage food cost controls to minimize waste
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
  • Collaborate with ownership on menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed
Requirements:
