Campaign assistant

We are recruiting an exciting role for a Campaign Assistant to join our busy, fast paced customer team.

About the role

You will be responsible for the processing and management of omni-channel campaigns, booked by the relevant sales people, driving successful campaign delivery for our retail media business.

You will ensure FMCG suppliers have the correct guidelines, deadlines, systems access, and information to submit briefs and assets correctly and on time. You will keep the internal ASDA brand team and studio updated on internal trackers.

You will fully learn, process, manage and execute campaigns on Salesforce (main portal).

You will ensure briefs and artwork reach the ASDA studio and all relevant third parties within agreed deadlines, mitigating any risks that could prevent campaigns or media elements from going live.

You will drive end-to-end delivery of print, digital and social media campaigns across your POD, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration.

As a Campaign Assistant:

  • Own, manage and oversee the successful delivery of digital, social, core media and feature space booked campaigns for your assigned category.
  • Liaise with category suppliers on use of the supplier/workflow portal.
  • Advise on guidelines and ASDA brand restrictions.
  • Approve or reject supplier artwork and briefs.
  • Submit artwork or scripts to relevant stakeholders for price checks, print or publishing.
  • Ensure campaigns go live as planned.
  • Oversee campaign go-live
  • Keep Asda retail partners, relevant salespeople and external third parties updated. Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support delivery. Process Contribution:
  • Proactively identify and implement process efficiencies.
  • Cascade new processes and updates across the team to share learnings.

About You

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver campaigns.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong ability to manage multiple strict deadlines and critical paths.
  • Experience in a client or customer-facing role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solving ability
  • Professional communication style with our suppliers

Everything you'll love

To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.

You will also get an excellent benefits package including:

  • Discretionary company bonus

  • Company pension up to 7% matched

  • 15% colleague discount in store and online

  • Free access to wellbeing services such as Stream, 24/7 virtual GP, counselling, health and dental cash plans and a 24/7 employee assistance helpline, alongside discounts across a range of services and activities, from airport parking, enhanced to theme parks and cinemas.

  • Asda Allies Inclusion Networks - helping colleagues to make sure everybody is included and that our differences are recognised and celebrated

  • Excellent parental leave policies, including maternity & adoption leave, paternity leave, shared parental leave, neonatal care leave, and support for those doing fertility treatments.

We want all colleagues to be able to bring their best and true selves to work, every day. Simply put, we want our colleagues to be Proud to be Asda and proud to be themselves
