Overview:

This is a part time job share role covering Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end to end plan, do and review process for your designated Marketing Campaigns across the Marketing Calendar. This includes writing the agency brief, developing the creative idea and media plan, managing production and TV shoots, delivering all of the assets aligned to this plan in an integrated way, managing all approvals and stakeholder engagement, and conducting a thorough evaluation on the campaign performance. You will manage a Campaign Planner.

As a Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for your campaign across the plan, do, review cycle as follows:

Plan:

  • Working with the Trade Marketing Planning team to understand the business objectives, target customers & overall proposition for the activity
  • Writing the combined media and creative agency brief, using key information from Trade Marketing team as well as agency specific detail and deliverables
  • Managing the creative & media agency responses to brief, including co-ordinating stakeholder feedback and providing this in a timely manner
  • Overseeing the end-to-end critical path until launch of the campaign, ensuring all key milestones and deadlines are achieved
  • Cascading all key campaign information to owned and earned channel teams
  • Co-ordinating and managing all key sign offs and meetings with stakeholders

Do:

  • Working with creative and media agencies to get build detailed plans by channel
  • Executing against these plans across paid channels as required - TV, BVOD / VOD, YouTube, Radio, Press, Digital display, partnerships - working with both the in-house studio and external agency teams to create assets by channel
  • For TV campaigns - responsible for managing pre-production all the pre-production preparation, including approval of shoot locations, talent, contracts and directors' treatments as well as working with relevant teams to secure samples; store teams for in-store shoot preparation; and George & GM teams for samples / creative input. Attending shoots and managing creative approvals on set.
  • For campaigns requiring photography, working with the Photography lead to ensure all photography requirements are captured for shoot, working together on treatments, and attending PPM's and shoots
  • Briefing testing requirements to Insight agencies and building in feedback to creative development process
  • Briefing commercial teams to provide detailed TV hero product nominations and full product nomination detail for use across all channels - making recommendations on what to feature by channel and getting this signed of at VP level
  • Running the channel mapping sessions, allocating messages and product nominations by channels & bookings on the media plans
  • Managing all reviews of creative and media through relevant meetings, including running the walk the wall session with VP of Marketing
  • Supporting with budget management - having oversight of total production and media budgets by campaign and working with these, raising PO's and flagging any risks / opportunities
  • Working with colleague Comms to organise any colleague launch event activity such as atrium events, including pulling presentations together

Review:

  • Responsible for pulling together full post campaign analysis, with input from agencies, commercial teams, insight and owned and earned channel owners, making recommendations for future campaigns
  • Conducting full wash up of ways of working and recommending improvements to process

Management responsibilities:

  • Line management of Campaign Planner - including objectives setting, conducting CPI's, ensuring individuals are motivated and have clear development plans in place, supporting with any HR issues
  • Working with peers in the team to manage and allocate resource across the team to manage workload
  • Producing / contributing to ad hoc requests for presentations from senior leaders
  • Keeping SharePoint sites up to date and organised
  • Contributing to the weekly performance pack

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • End to end campaign experience across paid channels, strong understanding of the campaign development process across creative & media
  • Experience managing TV productions
