Job description

     Mission Statement
North Shore School District 112 is a transformative learning organization where curiosity inspires minds, innovation shapes the future, and students, staff, and families engage to create a kind and connected community that is committed to excellence. 

The Running Club sponsor is responsible for recruiting, planning activities for, and supervising up to 28 3rd-, 4th-, and 5th-grade students in the running club.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Plan meeting dates and times for the club
  • Communicate with students and their parents regarding club expectations
  • Explain the Running Club expectations to students
  • Facilitating students as they explore running.
  • Work with a variety of skill levels to ensure club meetings are accessible to runners of varying abilities. 

Work experience requirements:

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Effective organizational skills.

Stipend: $40/hr (up to 15 hrs) in accordance to the NSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
