Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Children's Programs: Support the Kids Club Director in leading weekly services, Bible studies, and activities for children.
  • Lesson Preparation and Delivery: Prepare and present age-appropriate Bible lessons, crafts, games, and activities that help children understand and engage with Scripture.
  • Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following safety protocols, maintaining a clean environment, and supervising children during activities.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families by being approachable, nurturing, and spiritually supportive.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, upcoming events, and any needs or concerns. Slow to speak, with intentionality.
  • Holiday/Break Support: Assist in organizing and executing special events, such as children’s camps, summer programs and holiday programs.
  • Spiritual Growth: Foster the spiritual development of children by modeling Christian values and encouraging children to grow in their faith.

Qualifications:

  • A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for children’s ministry.
  • Previous experience working with children (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting and under stress.
  • Ability to manage and engage a group of children in both structured and unstructured settings.
  • A heart for service and a desire to see children grow in their understanding of God's Word.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and expanding ministry.

Additional Information:

  • Hours/Commitment: Full or Part time. Need to be available on Saturdays and some holidays, i.e. memorial day, etc.
