About the role?ย ย 

  • The roleย is inย our Research and Guidance team reporting into the Head of Research & Guidanceย in theย US.ย ย ย 

  • You will be responsible for overseeing & contributing to high quality project output.ย To deliver this, youย will supportย our Commercial teamย in building strong client relationships & securing repeat revenueย on key strategic accounts.ย ย 

  • You will be a key point of contactย the USย Commercial team advising on project design, scope & timings to feed into proposals & contribute to pitches.ย ย 

  • You will line manage a R&Gย subย team to include the allocation of projects as well as supporting the growth & development of the team.ย ย 

  • This is a hybrid office/remote role with one day in the office expected each week (and ad hoc as required)ย ย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Research Design:ย Lead research project design, ensuring proposals are robust, aligned with product taxonomy, and reflect past learnings.ย 

  • Analysis & Reporting: Prepare, review, and improve consultancy reports while coaching the team on analysis and reporting best practices.ย 

  • Client Liaison & Relationships: Assist Sales in building strong client relationships, sharing insights, and leading debriefs.ย 

  • Team Management:ย Manage and develop the R&G team, including workload allocation, training, and engagement.ย 

  • Drive personal and team capabilityย through ongoing learning, knowledge sharing, and staying current with industry trends.ย

Experience Required:ย 

  • Ideallyย 10+ย years experienceย 

  • Passionate about Marketing, Market Research & consultancyย ย 

  • Proven experience working within the industry across communications, brand & innovationย e.g. research or media agency, orย in Insights or Marketingย function withinย a client organisationย ย 

  • Excellent analytical & consultancy skills with the ability to see the โ€˜so whatโ€™ for clientsย 

  • Experience of line management & team developmentย
