The Role in Brief:

Entry-Level Coordinator, Research Department

EAB is the leading global provider of research and advice to higher education and K-12 institutions, working with more than 2,800 colleges, universities, and school districts in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Our research programs help executives at client organizations educate stakeholders, make research-informed decisions, and speed implementation of industry best practices.

As a Coordinator, you support our Research Department by connecting partners to our team of experts, ensuring processes are running smoothly, and meeting key deadlines.

As an integral member of the Research Operations team, the Coordinator will gain experience and expertise in business operations at EAB. The Coordinator will serve an important role both internally and externally as a liaison, information resource, and key point of contact.

This hire may be based in Washington, D.C.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as an internal and external liaison for EAB Research,
  • Strategically maintain 5+ Research Advisory Expert executives’ calendars
  • Collaborate across teams and divisions to provide high-quality, seamless customer service
  • Support key moments in Expert executives’ workstreams including (but not limited to) presentation follow-up, survey collection, and virtual event support
  • Work with operations team to manage schedules, content, speakers, session notes and materials, etc. for all continuous training work in Research
  • Plays a key role in supporting and assisting with the onboarding process for new department hires
  • Helps ensure accurate tracking of partner interactions and data integrity for Research Advisory Expert Executives
  • Collaborate with team managers on department communications
  • Make recommendations on best practices for process improvements to help operationalize efficiencies across the Research department
  • Manage other administrative duties and special projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent academic record
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Must possess at least two of the following:
    • Customer service experience
    • Experience working in a team environment
    • Experience in an office setting
    • Leadership experience 

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations
  • Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot basic technology platforms
  • Attention to detail
  • Solution-focused problem solving
  • Experience developing personal organization tactics to meet business goals
  • Proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Discretion with sensitive material and communications
  • Interest in and willingness to experiment with AI tools to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and support continuous process improvement
  • Experience with Excel

Compensation: The anticipated starting salary for this role is $40,000 per year.
