Job description

The Marketing and Research Assistant provides support to the Marketing and Research activities within the office daily as required.
Pay: $22.00-24.00 / per hour depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Market & Real Estate Research
  • Assist with requests in finding information on companies, contacts, competition, site locations, etc. Inclusive of; location mapping, internet research, creation of demographic reports, traffic counts, and maintaining an updated property photo library.
  • Communicates results of the searches and shares the information to Office Administration, the Director of Marketing and Research, Senior Management and/or sales associates.
  • Research computer software to upgrade/improve capabilities and assist office staff and/or sales associates in creating client presentations.

Information Systems/ Database Management
  • Assist with any data entry updates necessary for m2M listing system.
  • Supports inhouse Real Estate software such as Mapping, Demographics, County Database, Tax Map software and any other sites or applications as are useful.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Outlook and Teams.

Marketing Support
  • Assist Office Administration and sales associate's in marketing tasks for commercial properties, including assistance with exclusive flyers, compilation of targeted mailing lists, assisting with marketing presentations and proposals.

Marketing & Research Projects
  • Assist with projects within the office, coordinated by the Director of Marketing and Research and/or Senior Management.
  • Assist with Pyramid Brokerage Company marketing and research projects company wide as needed.

Other
  • Must demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and respect with candidates, team and business partners.
  • Effective communication skills to partner with all administrative staff and Senior management.
  • Attends all weekly sales meetings and any other council meetings as deemed necessary
  • May be required to travel.

Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two (2) year accredited or recognized university in Business and Marketing Information Systems; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
You must have the ability to operate general office equipment, including: telephones, photocopiers, printers, typewriters, postage machines, etc. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite software including Outlook and Teams.
The position requires a valid New York State Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
