The ideal candidate will have experience supporting capital raising, investor relations, marketing, or client service functions at a hedge fund, alternative asset manager, private credit manager, private equity firm, family office, or boutique investment manager. Client Details This global asset management firm has continued to expand their precense in the US. Their NYC office is based in Midtown, and has a hybrid work model. This role will work closely with the Investor Relations team (25+ people) and the Credit Team (18+ people). Description We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional interested in building a long-term career within investor relations, fundraising, and business development for an institutional asset manager. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting capital raising, investor relations, marketing, or client service functions at a hedge fund, alternative asset manager, private credit manager, private equity firm, family office, or boutique investment manager. Investor Relations & Capital Raising Support Support the Head of Marketing, Sales & Investor Relations and broader business development team in ongoing capital raising initiatives. Maintain and update CRM systems, investor databases, fundraising pipelines, and contact records. Track investor interactions, meeting activity, follow-up items, and fundraising opportunities. Coordinate investor meetings, diligence sessions, conference calls, and roadshow schedules. Assist with investor onboarding and ongoing relationship management processes. Marketing & Communications Assist in preparing investor presentations, pitchbooks, quarterly updates, fact sheets, and other marketing materials. Coordinate review and approval processes with Legal and Compliance for external communications. Support distribution of investor communications and marketing campaigns. Maintain investor distribution lists and marketing databases. Research & Business Development Support Conduct research on prospective investors, consultants, family offices, RIAs, pension plans, endowments, and other allocators. Monitor industry developments and competitor activity within alternative investments and credit markets. Assist with compiling market intelligence and fundraising analytics to support business development efforts. Utilize CRM data to identify opportunities for proactive investor engagement and relationship expansion. Investor Events & Conferences Coordinate conferences, investor events, annual meetings, roadshows, and client hospitality activities. Manage attendee tracking, logistics, registrations, and follow-up communications. Assist with preparation of meeting materials and investor briefing packages. Operational Support Help coordinate responses to investor due diligence requests, DDQs, and RFPs. Maintain organized repositories of marketing, legal, and investor-related materials. Assist with internal reporting related to fundraising activity and pipeline management. Participate in special projects supporting the growth of the firm's investor relations platform. Profile A successful candidate should have 2-5 years of experience supporting investor relations, fundraising, business development, marketing, client service, or research functions within an asset management or alternative investments environment. Experience working with institutional investors, consultants, family offices, wealth management platforms, or fund distribution teams. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
