Job description

Position Title: Business Development Consultant

Reports to: Senior Vice President

Department: Simplicity Wealth

Location: 900 Circle 75 Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339 (in office)

Classification: Full-time / Exempt

Summary / Job Objective: The Business Development Consultant is responsible for providing wealth management support to the Simplicity Partner Offices. This position focuses on delivering education, support, presentations, investment expertise, and consultative services, to drive the growth of new business for Simplicity Wealth. BDCs are responsible for expanding the advisor base by establishing a good rapport with Simplicity Consultants, existing Simplicity Advisors, and prospective Simplicity Clients utilizing professional phone and virtual presentation skills. The desire and drive to succeed in a competitive financial services setting is imperative.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with Simplicity Partner Offices to identify and engage prospective wealth advisors

· Educate financial advisors on Simplicity Wealth solutions and product offerings

· Become platform expert on product offerings, services, and resources available

· Conduct outbound calls and virtual presentations to new financial advisor affiliations

· Actively recruit financial advisors to join Simplicity Wealth

· Self-develop with industry and product knowledge to remain current with trends and products

· Recruit financial advisors to participate in Simplicity Wealth events

· Keep abreast of the competition and changes in the economy and financial markets

· Understand and adhere to the Vision, Mission, and Values of Simplicity

· Represent Simplicity in a professional manner at all times

Qualifications:

· At least five years of successful sales experience

· At least three years of investment or insurance experience

· Some travel may be required

· College Degree Preferred or Equivalent Work Experience

· Series 6, 63, 65, 66, or 7 preferred but not required

· Advanced Designation preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation (based on experience)

· Annual base salary: $80-90K

· This is a full-time/exempt position

· Annual performance bonus target: 15%

· Team performance bonus: On discretion
