About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Consultant (Business Execution Consultant) in Cards and Personal Loans. This position will support high-impact partnership opportunities that create value for customers, strengthen cardmember experiences, and help advance business growth across the credit card ecosystem.

In this role, you will help identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships across areas such as rewards, loyalty, travel, offers, fintech, digital experiences, and emerging card capabilities. You will work closely with Product, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology partners to move opportunities from early assessment through implementation. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, intellectually curious, and able to influence across a highly matrixed environment.


In this role, you will:

  • Conduct market, competitive, customer, and partner research to identify trends and evaluate new partnership opportunities
  • Support the assessment and prioritization of partnership opportunities aligned to business goals, customer needs, and growth strategies
  • Develop business cases, financial analyses, executive-ready materials, and strategic recommendations to support decision making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to evaluate customer, operational, financial, technology, legal, risk, and compliance considerations
  • Support partner outreach, diligence, negotiations, commercial structures, and partnership framework development
  • Coordinate activities related to partnership approvals, contracting, implementation planning, and deal governance
  • Support governance, risk, and control activities related to partnership evaluation, execution, and ongoing management


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, product strategy, consulting, corporate development, or financial services
  • Knowledge of the credit card ecosystem, including rewards, loyalty, payment networks, fintech, digital platforms, merchants, travel providers, and technology partners
  • Experience creating business cases, conducting market research, and performing financial, competitive, or strategic analysis
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations, executive materials, and actionable next steps
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
