Job description

Full Job Description:

Our team is hiring a full-time Automotive Accessory Technician - Vehicle Customization & Coatings to support our growing team in Pittsburg, Ca. The right person will be motivated and can work quickly and accurately to install all core services. Family owned business without the corporate politics. Great working environment. Looking for a team player with a great attitude. Amount of experience will dictate starting pay, but we are realistic with what technicians are earning today.

Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Ability to install/apply all required core products and services.

- Thorough technical understanding of core service applications including bedliners, toppers, tonneau covers, trailer hitches, undercoating, cargo slides, LED lighting and more.

- Daily communication between sales and technicians to review workload and schedule.

- Ensure spray equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) are maintained and ready for operation/use.

- Training and supervising product applications/installations.

- Prepare vehicles for applications/installations.

- Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean, undamaged, and without changes to the comfort, convenience.

- Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all shop owned tools at all times.

- Adhere to all attendance, punctuality, and time keeping standards.

- Follow safety measures prescribed by management.

- Be able to stand for long periods of time.

- Team oriented, flexible, focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license. Minimum 18 years of age.

- Problem solver/critical thinker.

- Strong work ethic/positive attitude/high energy.

- Attention to detail/effective communicator/organized.

- Must be able to pass a background and drug test.

Schedule:

- Monday - Friday work week.

Experience:

- Automotive experience HIGHLY recommended

- Ability to operate hand/power tools

- Ability to understand wiring diagrams and problem solve.
