Manager, Parts Distribution Center

Position Description

The Parts Distribution Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely order fulfillment while maintaining a safe, organized, and high-performing work environment. This role oversees inventory management, shipping/receiving, and team performance while driving continuous improvement across warehouse processes.

The Parts Distribution Manager ensures customer expectations are consistently met through strong operational execution, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

Position Details

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with the potential for extended hours during the irrigation season. The role is based at our warehouse location in Paul, Idaho.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Lead daily warehouse operations including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
  • Ensure high accuracy (target 95%+) in order picking, packing, and inventory management
  • Oversee timely processing of small package, pallet, crate, and CPU orders
  • Monitor workflow, staffing, and priorities to meet delivery timelines and customer expectations

People Leadership & Development

  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse team members, including senior associates and leads
  • Provide clear direction, accountability, and performance feedback
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees
  • Foster a culture aligned with Lindsay’s values: Safety, Quality, Integrity, Collaboration, and Creativity

Inventory & Process Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and system updates
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Ensure proper use of warehouse systems and data entry accuracy

Customer & Dealer Focus

  • Ensure a high level of customer and dealer satisfaction through order accuracy and responsiveness
  • Partner with customer support and logistics teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Build trust through operational excellence and product knowledge

Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Enforce safety standards, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee equipment usage and maintenance, including forklifts

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in the irrigation industry within a highly technical market such as Idaho
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanized irrigation systems, including pivot irrigation
  • High school diploma or GED required 
  • 5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  • Solid understanding of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, solve problems, and make sound operational decisions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with agricultural equipment or parts distribution networks
  • Familiarity with irrigation components, aftermarket support, or service environments
  • Demonstrated experience supporting irrigation dealers, growers, or field operations
  • Background in high‑volume or technically complex distribution operations
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
