MPA provides after-sales service parts support for Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Genesis. In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis - which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada.

JOB PURPOSE
The Manager, Retail Inventory Management and OE Policy isresponsible for helping Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis dealerships optimize theirparts inventory so the right parts are available when customers need them. Asthe business owner and subject matter expert for MOBIS's Retail InventoryManagement (RIM) program, this role partners directly with dealerships, supplychain, logistics, IT, field teams, and OEM stakeholders to improve partsavailability, inventory efficiency, and overall dealer performance.
This is a highly cross-functional role that combinesinventory strategy, analytics, dealer consulting, program management, andcontinuous improvement. The Manager leverages data, system capabilities, andbusiness insights to improve replenishment strategies, strengthen dealeradoption of inventory management tools, increase off-the-shelf fill rates, andsupport an exceptional customer and service experience across the dealernetwork.
Success in this role requires the ability to translateinventory, operational, and dealer performance data into actionable solutionsthat help dealerships maintain the right parts, in the right quantities, at theright time while minimizing excess inventory investment and supporting OEpolicy compliance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • RIM Strategy, Governance and Administration: Lead the Retail Inventory Management program strategy, administration, governance, and dealer engagement model to improve inventory efficiency, off-the-shelf fill, parts availability, and RIM utilization for Hyundai and Kia dealers.
  • Dealer Policy, Compliance and Adoption: Develop, maintain, and communicate dealer parts inventory policies, RIM operating guidelines, OE policy alignment, compliance expectations, escalation paths, and field support processes. Monitor dealer compliance and coordinate corrective action, field communication, and dealer coaching where gaps exist.
  • Inventory Analytics and Performance Improvement: Use dealer and system data to evaluate demand patterns, stocking behavior, phase-in/phase-out logic, order generation, lost sales, emergency orders, obsolescence, parts availability, and inventory efficiency. Turn insights into actionable recommendations for dealers, field teams, and leadership.
  • Systems, Data Flow and Integration Support: Coordinate with OEM stakeholders, system integration partners, DMS providers, IT, and reporting teams to support accurate data flows, issue resolution, reporting requirements, and integration enhancements between dealer systems, RIM, and OEM platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Dealer and Field Support: Partner with Hyundai, Kia, dealers, Parts Managers, field teams, wholesale business teams, supply chain, logistics, IT, and internal stakeholders to improve stocking performance, replenishment effectiveness, dealer readiness, and adherence to RIM and OE parts policies.
  • Business Requirements, Enhancements and Executive Reporting: Identify, prioritize, and document business requirements for RIM enhancements, reporting improvements, dealer experience improvements, and policy updates. Create executive-ready reporting and recommendations on RIM performance, dealer adoption, parts availability, fill performance, inventory efficiency, compliance, and system enhancement opportunities.
  • Strategic Representation and Continuous Improvement: Represent the RIM and OE Policy function in dealer meetings, field leadership discussions, system enhancement reviews, and OEM strategic planning activities. Support cross-functional initiatives that improve dealer customer satisfaction, service lane readiness, parts sales growth, and wholesale/retail parts operating performance.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
  • Dealer RIM participation, adoption, engagement, and compliance with RIM operating requirements.
  • Off-the-shelf fill / job fill improvement and overall parts availability at the dealer level.
  • Dealer inventory efficiency, including appropriate stocking levels, inventory turns, days supply, aged inventory, obsolescence, and non-stock / emergency order trends.
  • Dealer training completion, onboarding readiness, field support effectiveness, and policy clarity.
  • DMS and RIM data quality, integration stability, reporting accuracy, issue-resolution timeliness, and documented system enhancement progress.
  • Parts sales, service lane support, wholesale/retail performance, customer satisfaction, and dealer experience indicators influenced by improved inventory availability.

MAJOR CHALLENGES AND KEY DECISIONS
  • Balance parts availability, dealer investment, obsolescence risk, logistics constraints, and customer satisfaction when establishing RIM guidance and policy recommendations.
  • Influence dealers and field teams without direct control of dealership operations by using credibility, data, business acumen, communication, and change leadership.
  • Translate complex dealer inventory, demand, DMS, supply chain, and system integration data into practical recommendations for dealers and executive stakeholders.
  • Prioritize RIM system enhancements and dealer policy changes based on dealer impact, operational feasibility, compliance requirements, and business value.
  • Resolve escalated dealer concerns related to stocking recommendations, system logic, policy interpretation, data accuracy, and replenishment outcomes.

Required Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Automotive Management, Information Systems, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered where appropriate.
  • Master's degree or advanced certification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analytics, or Automotive Management preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive parts, dealer operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, OEM field operations, wholesale parts, or a related dealer-facing retail environment required.
  • Experience working with automotive dealers, dealership parts departments, dealer inventory performance, or comparable retail distribution networks required.
  • Demonstrated experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), inventory management systems, system integrations, reporting tools, and data-driven operational improvement required.
  • Experience interpreting demand, sales, replenishment, stocking, fill rate, lost sales, emergency order, obsolescence, and inventory turn data strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing dealer policy, process documentation, training materials, field communications, or change-management programs preferred.
  • Automotive OEM, aftermarket, parts distribution, dealer network, or similar multi-location retail supply chain experience strongly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Retail Inventory Management and Dealer Parts Operations: Strong knowledge of automotive dealer parts operations, OE dealer parts policy, replenishment logic, parts availability, inventory efficiency, and off-the-shelf fill performance.
  • Supply Chain, Logistics and Inventory Controls: Strong knowledge of demand planning, stocking parameters, days supply, phase-in/phase-out logic, obsolescence management, lead times, and service-level performance.
  • Systems, Data and Reporting: Strong knowledge of DMS platforms, RIM systems, system integrations, dealer data flows, reporting tools, dashboards, Excel, PowerPoint, and business case development.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes, make recommendations, and communicate practical actions to dealers, field teams, and executive leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to lead initiatives involving dealers, field sales, IT, supply chain, logistics, finance, policy, and OEM stakeholders.
  • Communication and Dealer Relationship Management: Excellent communication, facilitation, training, presentation, documentation, and dealer relationship management skills.
  • Project Management and Continuous Improvement: Strong project management, issue resolution, process design, prioritization, and continuous improvement capabilities.
  • Travel and Field Engagement: Ability to travel and work directly with dealers, field teams, and OEM partners as business needs require.

WORK SCHEDULE / TRAVEL
  • Standard business schedule with flexibility required to support dealer, field, system, and cross-functional business needs.
  • Travel required for dealer visits, field meetings, training, system rollout support, and OEM business reviews. Overnight travel may be required.
