Moog Space and Defense Group provides sub-systems and components for every mission critical system on a modern military vehicle. Our heritage is in electrohydraulic and electromechanical actuation systems and now, through acquisitions and internal development of full Turreted Weapon Systems (TWS) solutions.
Our Space and Defense Group is looking for an Associate Program Manager to join our team in Goleta, CA. This is a cross-functional role that requires coordination between many different groups within and outside of Moog.
Here's what you'll need to bring with you:
  • Minimum of an BS Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business.
  • 3 years of relevant program management related experience within manufacturing industry, preferably in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in understanding contractual requirements and scope adherence.
  • Proven ability to operate under pressure while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
  • Must be eligible for security clearance.

Here's what you will be doing:
  • Coordinating all program activities from contract awards through software and hardware delivery, you are the single point of contact for the customer regarding all aspects of the program.
  • You'll have performance responsibility for your program and will regularly deliver status updates to management.
  • Direct a matrixed group of people including Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement, Contracts etc.; many of which will be shared resources with other programs.

Salary Range Transparency:
Santa Barbara, CA $100,000.00-$130,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
