Job description

About the Role

We’re looking for a Global Clients Americas Program Director who combines a strong security management background with a modern, high‑tech mindset. You’ll be the strategic security leader for one of our flagship global technology clients, operating in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

In this role, you’ll translate complex security risks into clear business conversations, build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, and design scalable, data‑driven security solutions that support the client’s growth across their global footprint.

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Enjoy partnering directly with senior leaders in Security, Real Estate, Operations, HR and Technology.
  • Are comfortable in Silicon Valley–style, high‑growth environments.
  • Love using data, analytics and technology to drive decisions and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership & Client Partnership

  • Act as a strategic security advisor in a high‑technology environment, aligning security program recommendations with the client’s business objectives, culture and risk appetite.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with senior client leaders, communicating in a clear, concise and business‑friendly way that resonates with innovation‑driven stakeholders.
  • Represent Securitas as a thought leader in the client’s ecosystem, staying current on industry best practices, emerging threats and technology developments, and proactively bringing insights and recommendations to the client.

Program Management & Performance

  • Own full P&L for the account; analyze operational and financial indicators to continuously improve overall performance.
  • Leverage data, analytics and technology platforms to assess program performance, identify trends and drive continuous improvement across the client’s global security program.
  • Coordinate and perform Security Risk Reviews of client facilities using industry best practices and client‑specific assessment tools.
  • Implement and manage global safety programs; support special events and emergency coverage as needed.

Service Delivery & Operations

  • Serve as the key point of contact to ensure high‑quality customer service for assigned account(s); lead the evolution and improvement of the security program.
  • Ensure branches maintain a consistent focus on service excellence; provide guidance and support to retain and grow profitable business.
  • Partner with area management to ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective scheduling that meet client requirements while controlling labor costs.
  • Lead and support global RFI/RFP responses for the client, including pricing models and strategies; coordinate pricing information from all regions.

Global Coordination & Innovation

  • Meet regularly with client and Securitas management for account reviews; address issues, support start‑ups and transitions, and ensure contract compliance across the portfolio.
  • Support security planning, assessments and surveys; coordinate review and updates of global and local post orders.
  • Partner with the client on strategic budget preparation for guard services and security system deployments.
  • Lead the client in evaluating global security needs and determining feasibility of requested services, demonstrating strong understanding of the global business environment.
  • Develop and manage a global service network for client locations; build strong relationships with Securitas branches and alliance partners.
  • Coordinate, monitor and evaluate global service delivery; develop global best practices and apply the Global Clients Americas model to service delivery.
  • Champion innovation to improve working practices, products and technologies; identify current and potential problems and drive solutions through quality planning, analysis and decision‑making.

This position applies to administrative employees in salaried supervisory roles who manage a specific account (work unit), performing the routine duties of subordinates no more than 40% of the time.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5–10 years of progressively responsible management experience in security program management, corporate security, or a closely related field.
  • Experience working with high‑technology or Silicon Valley–based clients, or in fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environments, strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and managing complex, multi‑site security programs and engaging directly with senior client stakeholders.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of Visio, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Comfort working with technology platforms, dashboards and data analytics tools to monitor performance and inform decision‑making.
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building and influencing skills, with the ability to operate confidently at executive level.

  • Follow safe work practices and company safety policies, rules and regulations.
  • Raise any unsafe working conditions to your manager.
  • Seek clarification when you’re unsure about policies or procedures.
