Corporate Recruiter

Location: Troy, MI
Reports To: Director, Human Resources

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Corporate Recruiter to join our Human Resources team in Troy, Michigan. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for positions across multiple company operations nationwide. In addition to talent acquisition responsibilities, the Corporate Recruiter will support various HR Generalist functions and initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Recruiting
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and career fairs.

  • Create and manage job postings across various recruiting platforms.

  • Conduct phone screenings and assess candidate qualifications.

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding.

  • Extend employment offers to selected candidates and facilitate the hiring process.

Pre-Employment & Onboarding
  • Coordinate and complete all pre-employment requirements, including:

    • Drug screenings

    • Background checks

    • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks

    • Reference checks

    • Written comprehension assessments

  • Communicate all new hires to internal support teams.

  • Ensure all required onboarding documentation is completed prior to start dates.

  • Conduct new hire orientation at the corporate office, including:

    • Company overview presentation

    • Completion of employment paperwork

    • Credential and system setup

    • Security badging and facility access

    • ADP training

    • Safety training

Human Resources Support
  • Coordinate post-incident testing for current team members.

  • Track and communicate 90-day and annual performance review deadlines to managers.

  • Hold managers accountable for completing performance reviews on time.

  • Assist with HR administrative functions, including:

    • Employee filing

    • Invoicing and billing

    • Benefits reconciliation

  • Conduct comprehensive verbal and written exit interviews for departing team members.

  • Support additional HR initiatives and projects as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Previous recruiting or human resources experience preferred.

  • High-energy, self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
