ASSISTANT MANAGER JOB SUMMARY:

Our Assistant Managers lead our teams in the absence of the General Manager.ย  This position builds upon the Shift Manager

position.ย  As such, the Assistant Managers are responsible for fulfilling the same duties as a Shift Manager.ย  In addition, the Assistant Manager may be trained in all management systems and is expected to assist the General Manager as required.ย  The Assistant Manager position is a Full-Time position and requires open availability.ย  Assistant Managers report to the General Manager.

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job responsibilities:


ASSISTANT MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring that they, the Shift Managers, and the Team Members adhere to the responsibilities outlined in the Team Member job description.


In the absence of a Shift Manager, Assistant Managers are responsible for these duties:

ย ย Production management

ย ย Completion of temperature logs

ย ย Waste tracking and management

ย ย Key inventory item counts

ย ย Sales and cash reconciliation

ย ย Station training of new team members

ย ย Addresses escalated guest concerns

ย ย Banking duties

Additional responsibilities of an Assistant Manager may include:

ย ย Truck orders

ย ย Receipt of truck delivery

ย ย Weekly inventory counts and reconciliation

ย ย Scheduling, with final approval of the General Manager or District Manager

ย  Conducting interviews and reference checks on qualified applicants

ย ย Training of Shift Managers

ย ย Any other duties assigned by their General Manager, District Manager, or senior leadership team

ASSISTANT MANAGER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

ย ย At least 18 years of age

ย ย Open availability

ย ย Dependable

ย ย Coachable

ย ย Shift or Assistant management experience in a Quick Service Restaurant

ย ย Valid state Driver's License, active automobile insurance with the minimum liability coverage as required by driver's state and local area, and working personal vehicle that can be used to perform management tasks reliably.

ย Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.


Physical/Mental ability to:

ย Tolerate exposure to noise, extreme hot and cold temperatures, and other elements.

ย ย Frequently bend, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and twist at waist.

ย ย Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 50+ lb. occasionally, including lifting from ground to overhead.

ย ย Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift, including reaching for objects overhead.

ย ย Occasionally climb and descend ladders.

ย ย Remain active, standing for long periods without a break.

ย ย Work under pressure, such as high-volume peak periods, and remain calm with teammates and guests.
