Job description

Are you looking to change lives, champion the injured, and empower families? Klie Law Offices is looking for a file clerk who has the passion to help others. We are seeking a file clerk who has a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and an unparalleled work ethic. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality support in a fast-paced legal environment.


You would be responsible for electronically processing and distributing incoming and outgoing documents; entering events and deadlines in the practice management system; providing copies of non-confidential case documents to appropriate clients; and providing other general support to the legal production team when needed.

Compensation:

$25,000 - $30,000


Responsibilities:
  • Maintain organization of documents and ensure client details are accurately updated within the case management system.
  • Electronically process and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and e-filings.
  • Accurately update firm calendars, deadlines, and apply workflows upon receipt of new information.
  • Assist other staff and perform general office tasks as directed.
  • Enter time on a daily basis in practice management software.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient with MS Outlook.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, an Associate's Degree or higher is preferred but not required.
  • Legal experience preferred but not required.
