Job description

Benefits:

Flexible schedule

About the Role:

Join Ravenell Law LLC as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant / File Clerk in our Elkins Park, PA office. This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals looking to support a dynamic legal team while gaining valuable experience in a professional environment.

Part-Time Administrative Assistant / File Clerk (In-Office) โ€” Estate Planning & Estate Administration Firm

Ravenell Law LLC, a boutique estate planning and estate administration firm serving families in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, is hiring a part-time, in-office Administrative Assistant to work alongside our administrative lead and keep the office running. This is a hands-on, in-person role for someone reliable who takes ownership of the physical side of the practice so no file and no client falls through the cracks.

What you'll do (in-office):

Assemble and prepare client binders and execution packages

Open, sort, and process incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail and packages

Scan, organize, and maintain physical and digital client files (Dropbox)

Answer and route phone calls; take messages and confirm appointments

Greet clients and help prep the office for consultations and signings

Enter and track files in Lawmatics โ€” owner, next action, and deadline the same day

Provide backup and overflow support to our administrative lead so she isn't the single point of failure

What "done well" looks like:

Binders and signing packages are ready before the client walks in

Mail, scanning, and filing never pile up overnight

Every file you touch is logged in Lawmatics with an owner, next action, and deadline

Our administrative lead has real in-office backup, not more to juggle

Tools (training provided; familiarity is a plus): Lawmatics, Dropbox, Outlook/email, OOMA phone system, Decision Vault.

Who thrives here: We're a small, growing firm with evolving systems. The traits that matter most are reliability and attention to detail, adaptability (you won't stall when something is unstructured), and the persistence to drive a task to completion. A warm, professional in-person manner with clients is a real plus.

Schedule: In-office, part-time. Ideally Monโ€“Fri, 10:00 a.m.โ€“3:00 p.m.]

Compensation: Hourly $15.00 to $22.00

Hiring process note: As part of our process, every candidate completes a short behavioral assessment. We hire on demonstrated reliability and fit, not rรฉsumรฉ alone.

Languages: Korean or Chinese Language Capabilities a plus!
