Job description

Falcon Rappaport & Berkman, LLP is a rapidly growing, multi-practice firm. We are currently seeking a full-time file clerk/general administrative assistant for our Rockville Centre office to assist in the day to day organization and administration of the office.  Experience with all MS Office Suite applications is required. They must be a great multi-tasker with strong written and spoken communication skills and have a pleasant can-do attitude. Law office experience preferred but not required.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Creating and maintaining physical and electronic files
  • Retrieving and storing said files per attorneys/ staff requests
  • Assisting administrators in preparing documents for mailing as needed
  • Occasional runner/courier duties as needed
  • General IT support for in house staff
  • Copying, Filing, scanning documents
  • Ordering and retrieving lunch orders
  • Responsible for the set up and break down of meetings including staff  lunch/breakfast as needed
  • Keeping track and maintaining inventory of file room, supply closet and kitchen
  • Clean up duties in kitchen including sink and counter wipe downs
  • Keeping track of filing lists as needed/ requested by attorneys
  • Maintaining storage file list for archived matter folders

Required experience

MS Office Suite
VOIP phone systems
Must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing between 20 and 30 lbs

Preferred experience
Clio (or other cloud based file management/ time keeping) software

Drivers license required
