Job description

POSITION: ASSISTANT ACCOUNT MANAGER - OFF PREMISE


OVERVIEW: Assume all job responsibilities associated with the Account Manager position in thecoverage of absences, vacations, team sells, ride-with's and for any other reason asdeemed necessary by the Sales Supervisor. Responsible for performing the dutiesassociated with swingmen, merchandisers and delivery salesrep positions as dictated bycompany needs.


SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume all specific job responsibilities related to the Account Manager Position, including but not
limited to:
- Insure proper rotation of product in a timely manner with the color code system
- Knowledge of all pricing, promotions and company goals
- Communicates to management all changes and occurrences in the market including competitive
activity
- Sell-in and maintain new and existing packages and displays
- Maintain package integrity and quality standards in the marketplace
- Attend weekly sales meetings and team meetings
- Responsible for the adherence to company standards, guidelines, policy and procedures
- Provide feedback as necessary regarding employee issues, morale, productivity, etc.
- Fill in on delivery routes, merchandising and pre-sell routes when needed
- Any other tasks as requested by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Utilization of personal vehicle for business purposes required as a condition of employment - vehiclemust adhere to company image and safety standards
  • Requires travel to cover routes throughout Southwest Florida.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage as determined by Suncoast Beverage Sales -employee must provide proof of adequate coverage (declarations page from personal auto insurancepolicy that verifies limits of liability)
  • Physical ability to complete all job tasks-repetitive lifting, bending, pulling and pushing, the ability tolift up to 40 lbs. continuously, overhead
  • Willingness to work until the entire job is completed, including working in adverse weather conditions
  • Complete all required training for the position and Safety training
  • Complete and become certified in the ABU Selling Skills
  • Read, review, and be prepared to explain Suncoast Beverage Sales' Policy Manual
  • Basic math and Computer skills
  • Strong communicative skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to present yourself in a professional manner at all times
