Brown & Brown is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join our growing team in Alpharetta, GA!

The Assistant Account Manager will be responsible for managing a book of assigned accounts, providing exceptional client service, processing policy changes and renewals, and supporting daily insurance operations to ensure timely and accurate account management. This role also assists with certificates of insurance, loss runs, invoicing, policy delivery, and cross-selling opportunities while maintaining compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Manage a book of assigned accounts

  • Attend any required training sessions and courses to pursue insurance designations

  • Process certificates of insurance for the team

  • Scan and attach all mail/correspondence in AMS for the team that were not processed by the operations team

  • Respond to client emails and phone calls as assigned

  • Order loss runs

  • Copy and assemble proposals

  • Address policy change requests by processing endorsements

  • Check policies ensure each policy is delivered to the client within 30 days of receipt

  • Review and verify renewals and issue invoices

  • Increase revenue by crossing selling and writing new business

  • Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown

  • Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures

  • Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills

  • Other duties as needed

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Active P&C license, or obtain within 90 days, required

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • 1+ years' experience in Property & Casualty insurance, required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, required

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, required

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred

  • Experience with AMS360 or ImageRight or insurer websites, a plus
