Job Purpose:
- This position is responsible for food preparation, presentation, menu development, and supervisory functions for LA Catering culinary staff at LIFECARE ALLIANCE. You will also ensure that everything we do complies with state and local health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present delicious food that will wow our clients and guests.
- Assist in developing menus that are both creative and cost-effective.
- Supervise and guide our awesome culinary team to ensure top-notch food production.
- Make sure we're following all the food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards.
- Keep an eye on purchasing, food handling, and storage to ensure everything is up to code.
- Communicate effectively with the team and clients, both in writing and speaking.
- Help maintain a fun and friendly work environment while keeping everything running smoothly.

Required Education:
- Serv Safe Certification required
Required Experience:
- Experience in food preparation and presentation
- Experience in menu development
- Experience in ensuring compliance with state and local health and safety regulations
Preferred Experience:
- Two years of supervisory experience with direct supervision of food production staff
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards
- Knowledge of purchasing, food handling, and food storage regulations
- Good written and oral communication skills
