Qualifications
Menu Design Job overview and responsibilities:
The Menu Design team oversees the development, planning, and implementation of the global complimentary onboard menu program.
The Menu Design intern will be responsible for a variety of exciting initiatives including but not limited to:
  • Support the Menu Design team in strategy, planning, and implementation of all complimentary onboard menu offerings

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement throughout all stages of menu development, planning, and implementation

  • Participate in team workshops and menu presentations

  • Collaborate with various United teams including Procurement, Food Safety, Catering Performance, Digital Technology, and Strategy & Onboard Experience

  • Communicate with external partners to gather menu information and transfer to internal menu library database

Preferred Skills:
  • Demonstrated understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and the ability to leverage AI effectively to support research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. Applies critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to organizational policies related to responsible AI use, data privacy, and security
