Job description

The Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing is seeking candidates to fill a Certification/Licensure Examiner 2/Customer Service Assistant 2 (CLE 2/CSA 2) position. This position will have responsibilities on both the Licensing and Customer Service teams. The CLE 2/CSA 2 will perform the following duties which include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to email inquiries received by the division.
  • Answer Customer Support Center phone line.
  • Advise customers on application qualifications, submission requirements and technical information.
  • Qualify calls to determine the appropriate path for resolution.
  • Process incoming mail to include stamping, reviewing for completeness, logging and filing.
  • Assist with research into customer inquiries.
  • Review and process applications to verify applicants have met standards and provide recommendations.
  • Independently ensures applicant's experience meets criteria for the appropriate level of license or certification for appraisers, brokers, salespersons, or company licenses as they pertain applicable to state and federal laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Process necessary paperwork and make recommendations to resolve deficiencies.

12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in reviewing applicants' eligibility to take examinations, test administration & scoring & compiling statistics concerning test results; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in typing, word processing or data entry using video display terminal.
-Or 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in clerical/secretarial or other administrative support position involving public contact & preparation of correspondence & reports; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in typing, word processing or data entry using video display terminal.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Certification/ Licensure Examiner 1, 16841.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
