Job Summary: We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative and Accounting Assistant to support our accounting and back-office team. Our company provides centralized accounting and administrative support to a group of affiliated operating companies. This role provides administrative and accounting support across multiple operating companies. Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and comfort multitasking in a deadline-driven environment are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support: phones, emails, scheduling, and filing
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic bookkeeping tasks across multiple operating companies
  • Enter and reconcile data in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) for various entities
  • Help prepare financial reports and maintain accurate, well-organized records for each company supported
  • Manage and prioritize workflow across multiple entities to meet reporting and filing deadlines
  • Coordinate with accountants and team members to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information
  • Perform other office and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines is required
