Description
• Answers appointment scheduling line and schedules patient appointments in a timely manner per established protocols.
• Ensures accuracy of data input at time of scheduling.
• Coordinates appointments with tech and physician as necessary.
• Responds to patient questions and needs by editing, canceling, and rescheduling appointments as necessary.
• Create telephone encounters for patient questions and assigns to appropriate staff members
• Rescheduling appointments for assigned providers
• Maintains a working knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance plans, workers' compensation, etc.
• Other Duties as assigned
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of six months in a physician office setting performing check-in functions.
