LMI is seeking a Portfolio Program Manager (PM) to lead a team of PMs and subject matter experts in supporting a variety of contracts for the U.S. Transportation Command. This Portfolio PM will provide overall leadership, management, and technical oversight for all LMI contractor personnel at USTRANSCOM Headquarters located at Scott AFB, IL.

Responsibilities- The LMI Portfolio Program Manager is responsible to the Vice President of the OSD and Defense Agency Submarket for ensuring on-site client delivery and proper execution for all LMI contracts in support of United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM).
- Provide direct supervisory authority and staff development for multiple Program Managers and contract teams surrounding the day-to-day execution of their assigned contractual duties.
- Establish goals, monitor timelines and deliverables, and manage staffing and budgets for assigned contracts. Ensure timekeeping compliance for all portfolio personnel. Conduct annual performance reviews of assigned Program Managers; ensure PMs are training, developing, and effectively leading the members of their contract teams. Conduct semi-annual reviews to ensure alignment of team members skills, titles, and compensation.
- Prepare and deliver/present monthly Performance Management Review (PMR) briefings to LMI leadership regarding revenue/margin, staffing levels, client deliverables, quality assurance, and any issues or concerns that may impact the effectiveness of each USTRANSCOM contract.
- Exercise business acumen in conducting weekly check-ins with the client and the LMI staff to manage performance, identify issues, and proffer solutions. Effectively communicate with clients, partners, potential partners, and staff to ensure any/all challenges, concerns, or opportunities are addressed quickly and correctly.
- Utilize demonstrated understanding of the client's mission, current geopolitical environment, national security policies and objectives, and a robust understanding of deployment and distribution operations at the operational and/or strategic levels to address requirements and challenges.
- Represent LMI at events including NDTA, AFCEA, USTRANSCOM AQ led Industry Day, partner meetings, related working groups, etc. to build and strengthen relationships, explore growth opportunities, and maintain knowledge and awareness of evolving capabilities and requirements. Act as the primary liaison between project teams, senior leadership, the client, and external stakeholders,
- Contribute to the pursuit and capture of new opportunities to grow the USTRANSCOM portfolio. Evaluate future opportunities and take the appropriate Business Development actions to best position LMI to win the work. Provide appropriate gate reviews and briefings to LMI senior leadership to garner the required funding and support necessary to produce a winning proposal. Position for successful bids on recompetes.
- Research, understand, and leverage LMI's platform solutions for client delivery to the greatest extent possible.
Required Skills:
- At least 10 years of program management and/or senior staff level experience working in the Department of War(Joint Staff, Service Headquarters Staff, Major Command(MAJCOM), Agency and/or CCMD Staff).
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' work experience in the areas of logistics, transportation, supply chain management, joint operations, and the Joint Strategic Planning System; prior military planning experience preferred.
- Proven expertise in coordinating and delivering complex projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience building and leading teams of high functioning personnel; ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Extremely strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, MS Teams, CostPoint, UKG, iCIMS and ServiceNow.
- Must be self-directed, detail oriented and comfortable working and communicating around senior DoW and Industry leaders.
- Available for occasional domestic travel.
- Full-Time/Regular employment.
- SECRET clearance, TS/SCI eligible.
