As an HRMS Functional Support Analyst, you'll be the trusted expert for Workday HRMS applications, focusing on Workforce Management, Recruiting, Benefits, and Payroll. You'll work closely with technical and business teams to lead implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support-unlocking the full potential of Workday for our organization.
This role combines functional expertise with strategic problem-solving, requiring someone who can translate business needs into actionable solutions and partner with technical resources to deliver seamless results.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and support Workday HRMS implementations and upgrades, collaborating with technical teams and functional users.
  • Provide day-to-day user support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth system operations.
  • Act as a functional liaison for enhancements and fixes, including creating functional specifications and conducting system testing.
  • Drive requirements analysis sessions to capture business objectives and translate them into system solutions.
  • Assist with configuration changes, testing, training, and process documentation.
  • Develop and maintain advanced reports for team and organizational use.
  • Monitor and implement regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and training for updates.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with functional users to build internal expertise.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Workday HRMS Functional Support Analyst, including full lifecycle implementations.
  • Expertise in three or more Workday modules: Workforce Management, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Recruiting, or Absence Management.
  • Strong understanding of business requirements, workflow analysis, and process re-engineering.
  • Ability to QA test development work and collaborate with technical teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project, Visio) and SQL for data review and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • A commitment to quality customer service and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years supporting Workday HRMS applications.
  • 6+ years of Workday HRMS implementation/upgrade experience.
  • 2+ full Workday SDLC implementations.
  • Experience as a Functional Lead on at least two projects.
Preferred
  • Experience in complex organizational environments (nice to have).
