Job description

Overview:

We are looking for a strategic, forward-thinking Senior Manager of Commercial Card Product Management to help shape the future of our Commercial Card business in an increasingly digital and competitive payments landscape. In this role, you will lead product strategy, roadmap execution, commercialization, and ongoing optimization across core card capabilities while helping us strengthen how we compete with emerging fintech offerings and partner with fintechs to deliver innovation, client value, and speed to market. This is an exciting opportunity for a product leader who brings deep expertise in commercial cards or B2B payments, strong leadership skills, and a passion for turning market trends, client needs, and technology opportunities into scalable, differentiated solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for Commercial Card capabilities, including digital platform enhancements, spend management solutions, controls, pricing, fraud prevention, and client experience improvements.
  • Develop and execute strategies to strengthen the competitiveness of the Commercial Card portfolio against fintech and nontraditional market entrants by improving speed, usability, data insights, integration capabilities, and overall client value proposition.
  • Identify, evaluate, and enable fintech partnership opportunities that expand capabilities, accelerate delivery, improve client experiences, or open new distribution and embedded finance use cases.
  • Drive commercialization and scaling of new offerings, including pilot execution, go-to-market planning, sales enablement, cross-functional readiness, and post-launch adoption.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales, Account Management, Treasury, Operations, Servicing, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Technology to prioritize investments and deliver business outcomes.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and the business in discussions with external partners, processors, networks, fintechs, and technology providers to ensure solutions align with market needs and strategic priorities.
  • Monitor market trends, client demands, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies such as virtual cards, embedded finance, API-enabled integrations, and payment automation to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Support business case development, pricing strategy, governance, and performance tracking to improve adoption, profitability, and portfolio outcomes.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch and ongoing optimization, using strong communication, influence, and execution discipline to drive results.
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience, OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 14 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 10 years' proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Significant experience in product management, payments, treasury services, commercial card solutions, or related B2B financial products.
  • Demonstrated success leading product strategy, roadmap execution, and commercialization for complex financial services or payments products.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Card products, B2B payment flows, client workflows, pricing concepts, controls, and competitive market dynamics.
  • Experience assessing market disruption and translating competitive insights into product strategy, including approaches to compete with fintechs and deliver differentiated client value.
  • Experience working with or alongside external partners such as fintechs, payment networks, processors, ERP providers, expense platforms, or embedded finance enablers.
  • Familiarity with modern payments capabilities such as virtual cards, API-based integrations, spend management, payment automation, data-driven client experiences, and digital servicing tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and build alignment across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Leadership Profile:

This role is ideal for a strategic product leader who enjoys balancing innovation, partnership, and disciplined execution. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, commercially minded, and energized by the opportunity to modernize a core B2B payments business in a rapidly evolving market. You will have the chance to navigate meaningful challenges, shape important decisions, and work across internal teams and external fintech ecosystems to bring differentiated solutions to market.

Why Join Us:

This is an opportunity to do meaningful work with real visibility, influence, and impact. You will join a collaborative environment where product strategy, client needs, payments innovation, and business transformation come together to shape the future of Commercial Card.
