Who are you?
As a Fintech Account Executive, you will manage the full sales cycle for Workiz Financial Services products across both existing customers and new prospects. You'll act as a trusted consultant to business owners, helping them identify the right financial solutions for their business needs.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in consultative sales, enjoys building relationships with SMB customers, and is excited about embedded fintech and payments technology.
Responsibilities
As a Fintech Account Executive, you will:
  • Drive adoption and revenue growth for Workiz Financial Services products
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and demos through negotiation and close
  • Consult with customers to understand their business needs and recommend tailored fintech solutions
  • Build and manage a pipeline through outbound outreach, inbound opportunities, and expansion within our existing customer base
  • Partner cross-functionally with onboarding, customer success, and account management teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Become a subject matter expert on Workiz's fintech offerings and value proposition
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting activity within CRM systems
  • Share customer feedback and market insights with internal product and leadership teams
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, or SMB sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn

Bonus Points:
  • Experience selling payment processing, lending, or other fintech solutions
  • Experience working with SMB customers
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, prospecting, or customer engagement

Compensation and Benefits
  • Market-level compensation based on experience $85,000 - $95,000 On-Target Earnings.
  • Comprehensive benefits package featuring employee stock options, Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage options, and up to a 4% match on 401k contributions.
  • Sick Leave: 5 days per year
  • Vacation Leave: 14 days per year plus 2 Floating Holidays to use each year

This is a hybrid role working Tues, Wed, and Thurs in our San Diego office and Mon and Fri working remotely. Open to candidates in the San Diego area.
