Job description

We're Hiring: Capital Strategist (Account Executive)
Remote (U.S.) Full-Time
About Us
Industry FinTech is on a mission to transform the world of private capital markets. Through a growing ecosystem of technology and operational platforms, Industry FinTech supports firms across capital raising, investor operations, and growth infrastructure.
AxisKey, a division of Industry FinTech, is the platform that helps real estate firms, private equity groups, and emerging fund managers modernize and structure their capital raising operations. By combining technology with a repeatable operational framework, AxisKey enables firms to operate with greater efficiency, credibility, and scalability. With teams across Miami and Latin America, we're continuing to expand our Capital Platform team to support the growth of the platform and our client base.
The Role
We're hiring Capital Strategists (Account Executives) to join our Capital Platform team and own the full client acquisition cycle, from the first conversation through closing and onboarding.
At AxisKey, we do not approach sales as traditional product selling. Our Capital Platform team acts as a strategic partner to the firms we work with, helping them identify operational gaps, improve how they raise capital, and build more scalable infrastructure around investor engagement and growth.
You'll build and manage your own pipeline, lead structured business conversations with prospective firms, and guide them through the full decision-making process. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role focused on understanding each firm's challenges, positioning AxisKey as the right operational solution, and driving long-term client partnerships. You'll work closely with leadership and take ownership of pipeline growth, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
What You'll Do
  • Own the full client acquisition cycle from outreach and discovery to closing
  • Build, manage, and grow a pipeline of prospective AxisKey clients
  • Lead structured discovery calls and strategic business conversations with firms
  • Understand each firm's current capital raising structure, operational challenges, and growth goals
  • Identify operational gaps and advise firms on scalable processes and infrastructure improvements
  • Position AxisKey as the operational platform that supports scalable capital raising operations
  • Build strong long-term relationships throughout the sales process
  • Handle objections, commercial discussions, and negotiations confidently
  • Collaborate closely with the Client Onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition from signed client to active platform engagement
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates, forecasting, and pipeline visibility
  • Take ownership of revenue generation, conversion performance, and overall sales outcomes
  • Help improve and refine the company's sales process, messaging, and outbound strategies over time

Must-Haves
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, with exceptional professional communication skills
  • 3-7+ years of experience in full-cycle business development, capital raising, investor relations, or high-level client-facing roles
  • Direct exposure to fundraising activity through a company, fund, sponsor, or investment platform that actively raised capital
  • Strong understanding of how private capital firms operate, raise capital, and manage investor relationships
  • Strong ability to build pipeline, manage relationships, and close new business
  • Confidence leading business conversations with founders, executives, and investment professionals
  • Strong consultative and strategic communication skills
  • Professional, polished, and highly credible presence in meetings and presentations
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and self-management
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Strong commercial judgment and problem-solving mindset

Bonus Points For
  • Experience in private equity, real estate investment, venture capital, or capital markets
  • Experience working directly with fundraising teams, investor relations teams, or placement processes
  • Understanding of investor communications, fundraising processes, or investor operations
  • Experience selling SaaS platforms, operational services, or advisory solutions
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and outbound business development workflows
  • Existing network within the private capital markets ecosystem

What You'll Get
  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance-based incentives tied to revenue generation and new client acquisition
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Health benefits package
  • Paid time off +sick days
  • Company laptop and tools
  • Opportunity to work directly with founders, investment firms, and private market operators
