Summit Skilled Solutions is actively seeking an experienced Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our corporate recruiting team in Stow, Ohio.

Founded in 2014, Summit Skilled Solutions has grown into a respected national skilled trades staffing company with our headquarters in Stow, Ohio, multiple remote recruiting locations, and a dedicated travel division serving contractors across the United States. Our leadership team brings more than 80 years of combined industry experience, earning a reputation for integrity, knowledge, and exceptional customer service within the skilled trades staffing industry.

As our company continues to expand, we're looking for a driven, self-motivated recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in building our national workforce. Position Overview

The Skilled Trades Recruiter will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Operations Manager to recruit, hire, and onboard skilled trades professionals nationwide while providing recruiting support to our sales team.

This position is ideal for someone with previous skilled trades recruiting experience who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process, and building lasting relationships with skilled professionals.

Experience recruiting industrial construction trades on a national level is highly preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Recruit skilled trades professionals using job boards, databases, social media, referrals, networking, and other sourcing methods.
  • Review resumes and employment applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct candidate interviews to evaluate trade knowledge, work history, technical skills, soft skills, certifications, and overall job fit.
  • Accurately represent Summit Skilled Solutions' values, culture, and opportunities to prospective employees.
  • Coordinate and complete the onboarding process for new field employees.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Utilize recruiting software, Microsoft Office, job boards, and recruiting technology to efficiently manage recruiting activities.
  • Generate recruiting metrics and provide well-documented recruiting reports to leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruiting and hiring process while serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Maintain consistent communication and exceptional follow-up with candidates, clients, and internal team members.
  • Effectively resolve challenges while creating positive outcomes for both candidates and customers.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience recruiting skilled trades professionals (preferred)
  • National industrial construction recruiting experience (preferred)
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven follow-up and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivation with a strong work ethic
  • Resourcefulness and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and major online recruiting platforms
  • Experience with Bullhorn ATS is a significant advantage
  • Experience with Zoom info preferred but not required
  • Experience recruiting and placing conveyor industry professionals is strongly preferred
