The Coordinator, Ticket Sales and Service works in the ticket office of the Al McGuire Center and is responsible for all facets of ticket sales to Marquette University athletic events, including executing a plan to meet or exceed annual sales goals. This position will focus on increasing season tickets, partial plans, group tickets and individual game tickets. The coordinator is also responsible for assisting with the ticket operations efforts of the athletics department, and must exhibit excellent customer service skills, as the preferred candidate will be the primary contact for the public at the Marquette Ticket Office
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sell ticket packages and grow new customer bases through season tickets, mini-plans, and group sales, with an emphasis on men's basketball. Conduct daily outbound sales calls and consistently generate new business leads to drive weekly revenue growth. Assist in developing and executing departmental sales and marketing strategies. Maintain accurate customer account records, process orders using Archtics/Ticketmaster systems, and leverage platforms such as Archtics/Ticketmaster, Conquer, and Salesforce to enhance ticket operations processes.
2. Serve as ticket office manager on duty for all ticketed events (excluding men's basketball) and assist with operational needs. Handle escalated customer challenges and ensure resolution aligns with organizational standards and leadership expectations. Direct oversight of the main athletics email account and texting system - viewing all emails/texts and responding in a timely manner.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and operations to develop compelling sales materials and initiatives.
4. Support supervision and development of student sales associates and ticket office staff.
5. Produce daily financial and sales reports for the Athletics Business Office, including deposits and payment summaries.
