Job description

Job Description The Technology Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering technology training for attorneys and staff across global offices through in-person, remote, and hybrid formats. The role focuses on ensuring consistent, high-quality training experiences firmwide while supporting technology adoption, ongoing learning initiatives, and effective use of the firm's Learning Management System (LMS). Working closely with the Technology Training Supervisor, IT teams, and other trainers, the Technology Trainer also provides day-to-day technology support and contributes to firmwide technology initiatives.

Occasional travel is required. Key responsibilities include delivering training on standard hardware, software, and legal-specific technologies; coordinating and conducting new hire technology orientation; providing one-on-one and desk-side training; and creating engaging training and reference materials such as manuals, quick guides, tutorials, and e-learning content. The role involves assessing learning needs, developing customized training programs, supporting new initiatives like virtual office hours, and translating complex technology concepts into practical guidance for users.

Candidates should have a college degree in IT, instructional design, or a related field, with five or more years of technical training experience. Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 is required, along with experience using collaboration tools, e-learning authoring software, and LMS platforms. Law firm experience is preferred.
