Job description

We are partnering with an established organization is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead enterprise technology operations, production environments, and end-user technology services. This individual will play a key leadership role in ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable technology operations while driving operational excellence across infrastructure, support, and deployment functions.

This role offers the opportunity to oversee critical technology environments, improve operational processes, and enhance the overall technology experience across the business. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical depth, operational leadership, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities IT Operations & Infrastructure
  • Lead day-to-day IT operations, enterprise systems, infrastructure, and support functions
  • Ensure system availability, performance, security, and reliability across business-critical technologies
  • Oversee patch management, vulnerability remediation, backup and disaster recovery efforts
  • Drive operational improvements to strengthen system performance and service delivery
Production Systems & Environment Management
  • Support and maintain production technology environments and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Establish monitoring, incident response, and operational standards to ensure uptime and stability
  • Develop operational documentation and repeatable processes to support scalable technology operations
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve issues and maintain production readiness
DevOps & Release Coordination
  • Support deployment processes, release management, and environment administration
  • Collaborate with technical teams to improve release efficiency and deployment reliability
  • Ensure secure change management and governance practices are followed for production systems
  • Promote consistency and operational readiness across technology releases
Database & Enterprise Systems Support

  • Ensure operational processes align with security and compliance expectations

  • Evaluate and support technology solutions that improve efficiency and operational effectiveness
  • Assist with adoption of automation and AI-enabled tools where appropriate
  • Ensure new technologies align with security, operational, and data governance standards
End User Experience & Service Delivery
  • Own the employee technology experience and IT support effectiveness
  • Improve service responsiveness, support quality, and user satisfaction
  • Identify recurring technology issues and implement long-term improvements
  • Enhance knowledge sharing, automation, and self-service capabilities
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead technical teams supporting infrastructure, operations, and service delivery
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Mentor team members and strengthen operational maturity across IT functions
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or enterprise systems
  • Strong experience within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure and Microsoft 365
  • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, production systems, and release management
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD environments
  • Strong understanding of IT service delivery, operational metrics, and end-user support
  • Experience with monitoring, system reliability, and performance optimization tools
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or deployment automation tools
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation practices
  • Experience in complex or highly regulated environments preferred
  • Exposure to AI-enabled technologies or automation initiatives

Location: Onsite in Denver, Colorado
Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 base salary (depending on experience)
