The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an IT Operations Manager to join our team in St. Louis, MO. The IT Operations Manager will oversee an O&M team supporting our St. Louis, Arnold, and N2W locations. This includes 24/7 incident response, and O&M support staff. This position is responsible for the delivery of a broad spectrum of performance-based IT services to NGA. Candidates will be responsible for meeting contractual SLAs, implanting and maintaining operational processes, overseeing personnel scheduling, and building relationships with NGA Government leadership.
Responsibilities:
Direct technological operations by studying organizational practices and goals. Ensure compliance with all internal organization standards Develop and determine best practices to improve performance technically and procedurally Team management concerns overseeing the work of IT staff, including network engineers and support technicians Provide guidance and mentoring to team members ensuring timely completion tasks Know how to manage conflict within the team, resolve disputes and mediate disagreements Stay in tuned with communications between IT operations teams and the customer, from all means of communications (emails, phone calls, etc.) Perform audits on organization and standardized operational procedures currently in place This position is a leadership role; involving setting clear goals, motivating team members, and providing guidance and direction to them. Project management will be apart of this role. Hand off from engineering to operations will occur and this position will be involved in making the transition as smooth as possible Having a strong knowledge of the network, external contract procedures, and facility procedures ensuring protocols are met
